MH models Douglas A-20 Havoc/Boston / P-70 – 1:48 walkway strip airbrush mask is a stencil for spraying the black walkway strips on the wings instead of using decals.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 1:48 masking stencil from MH models intended for spraying the walkway strips on the upper surface of the wings of a model of the twin-engine Douglas A-20. Instead of decals, which can silver on an uneven surface, the mask makes it possible to lay the strips down directly in paint for a faithful and durable result.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc (Boston in British service) was an American twin-engine attack and light bomber aircraft of World War II. The P-70 version was created as a night fighter. The aircraft served with a number of Allied air forces on many fronts and were notable for their slender fuselage and good low-altitude performance.
First spray the wing surface with the base color. Position the mask precisely against the leading edge, press it down onto the surface and spray the black or dark color of the walkway strips with an airbrush. Remove the mask once it has dried. An airbrush mask is ideal even on a slightly uneven surface where a decal would not settle.
It is a masking stencil, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
