Responsibility details are not available.
A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from Wolfpack Design. It brings markings and national insignia for the naval versions of the Douglas C-47 Skytrain transport aircraft, which the US Navy operated under the designation R4D-6. It is not a kit but an accessory meant for finishing a plastic C-47 model in this scale. It is based on the dimensions of the Revell kit.
The Douglas C-47 Skytrain was a military transport aircraft derived from the civilian DC-3 and one of the most widespread transport machines of the Second World War and of the postwar era. In the colors of the US Navy it served as the R4D for carrying people and freight and as a liaison and logistics aircraft. The R4D-6 version carried a characteristic naval paint scheme and the unit markings of ships and air units.
Lay the decals on a smooth, glossy and degreased surface, ideally over a coat of gloss varnish. Once transferred in water, settle them with a decal softener so that they sit down into the detail, and fix them with a matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the character of the surface. The set holds marking options for several particular machines; the exact schemes are in the enclosed instructions.
This is a decal set, not a model. The base Revell kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
