A set of colored water-slide decals, Airscale instruments of early Soviet jets in 1:48, for detailed dressing up of cockpits.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of full-color water-slide decals from the British maker Airscale in 1:48 scale. It offers the dials of the cockpit instruments used in the cockpits of early Soviet jet aircraft. It serves to bring the instrument panel and the side consoles to life realistically. It is not a model or a kit but an accessory for dressing a cockpit up.
The decals show the instruments for flight, navigation and monitoring the powerplant typical of early Soviet jets. Each dial is on the sheet separately with a minimum of carrier film, so it can be placed exactly on its spot on the panel. The set goes well together with photo-etched instrument bezels.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish, which prevents silvering. Cut the motif out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it comes free, slide it off the backing into place. A decal softener is worth using, and a matte varnish over the top at the end.
This is a standalone accessory. The aircraft model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
