An electric pole in 1:48 scale is a small accessory for dioramas: a pole of an overhead line with a crossarm and insulators, which gives a scene a vertical feature.
Responsibility details are not available.
A standalone pole of an overhead electric line for a diorama in 1:48 scale. It completes a street, a courtyard and a country road with a feature that gives a scene height and a legible scale, because a viewer recognizes at once how tall the figure or the vehicle standing next to it is. This is an accessory to scenery, not a moving or electrically working part.
Low-voltage overhead lines belonged to the European countryside and to the outskirts of towns from the 1920s on. The supporting post was an impregnated trunk, on which crossarms with porcelain insulators sat, and the bare conductors were fixed to them. In period photographs the poles often stand crooked, with their wires torn away and their foot burnt; it is exactly such a detail that can carry the story of a whole scene.
Clean the casting residues off with a sharp scalpel and wash the surface in lukewarm soapy water. Cyanoacrylate glue holds the joints, and it is worth laying a primer under the surfaces before painting. Wood comes out best when the gray base coat is lightened with a dry brush and the joints are brought out with a dark wash shade. You string the conductors yourself from thin filament or elastic thread.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the conductors are not in the package.
