This is a set of color 3D interior decals on decal paper from the Ukrainian brand Kelik, intended for the kit of the early F-104G from Hasegawa in 1:48 scale. The decals reproduce the instrument panel, the side consoles and other details of the cockpit convincingly, with fine modeled relief and finished color printing, so they create a convincing cockpit without the slow business of painting tiny dials and switches.
The set replaces hand painting and dry transfers of the instruments. The 3D relief layer gives the panels depth and the reflection of the glass, which looks realistic on the finished model even under a clear canopy.
Application is like that of classic decals: once lifted off the backing, the part is placed on a cleaned and, ideally, varnished surface. Given the greater thickness of 3D decals, softeners are used carefully and only in small amounts. We recommend working with a sharp scalpel and tweezers.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit; the model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
