A resin detail part, not a kit of the airplane. The set brings precisely cast landing gear doors for the American multirole fighter the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon in 1:48 scale. It replaces the thick-walled plastic parts out of the box with thinner and more detailed resin castings. The part is intended for more advanced modelers with experience of resin.
On a model with the undercarriage lowered, open landing gear doors are constantly in view, and both their thickness and their internal stiffening reveal the fidelity of the scale. Resin allows thinner edges and finer relief of the stiffeners on the inside of the doors, so the landing gear bay looks more realistic. Once glued on and painted, they add to the conviction of a model.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
