A replacement cockpit for the F-16C Block 52+ in the Polish and Hellenic fit, in the detailed version, for the Kinetic Gold series kit in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-16C Fighting Falcon to the Block 52+ standard is one of the late versions of this single-engined multirole fighter. The abbreviations PolAF and HAF in the name refer to the Polish and the Hellenic Air Force, meaning two European users of this version. It is precisely their cockpit fit that the set is aimed at.
It is a replacement cockpit for the F-16 kit from Kinetic in the Gold series in 1:48 scale. The qualifier in the name denotes the more detailed version of the set. Once the parts from the box have been replaced, the cockpit area gains the depth and the breakup that are visible at first glance with the canopy open.
First try the parts dry between the fuselage halves and only then glue them permanently. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Cement for polystyrene may have no effect on these parts, while cyanoacrylate holds reliably. Before painting, wash and degrease the surface, apply an undercoat and pick the small elements out with a dry brush. The procedure for putting the individual parts together is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set makes sense if you want to build the model with the canopy open and the cockpit is to be the first thing the viewer looks at. With the cockpit closed, on the other hand, only a fraction of it stays visible.
The set supplements a kit, which it does not contain. Paints and glue are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
