Big Ed is a pack from the Czech maker Eduard (Obrnice near Most) that brings several separate aftermarket sets for one specific model together in a single box. This Big Ed is intended for the F-16I Sufa kit in 1:48 scale from Great Wall Hobby (GWH).
Equipping a model fully usually calls for several different sets — photo-etched parts for the cockpit and the exterior plus masking sets for the glazing and the wheels. Big Ed brings them together in one box, so you have them at hand at once and can be sure that all the parts match each other and the kit. The set is designed specifically for this GWH kit and will not fit another F-16I kit.
The F-16I Sufa (Hebrew for storm) is the two-seat multirole version of the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter developed for the Israeli Air Force. It differs from standard F-16s in, among other things, its dorsal spine with additional fuel capacity (conformal fuel tanks) and its extensive Israeli avionics, which make it a machine of long range and combat reach.
This is a pack of accessories for one specific kit, not a standalone model. Photo-etched parts are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and a photo-etch bender helps with the fine folds. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
