A detailed 3D-printed set from the Quinta brand intended to improve the interior of the gunner station of the British Fairey Barracuda carrier bomber in 1:48 scale. The set is designed for Trumpeter kits. It is not a stand-alone model of an aircraft but an accessory which replaces and adds to the parts from the box with more faithful, finely reproduced elements made by 3D printing with a color finish.
The Fairey Barracuda was a British carrier-borne torpedo and dive bomber of the Royal Navy of the Second World War period. The gunner station in the rear part of the cabin carries side panels, communication equipment, mountings and structural detail, all of which this set captures in reduced scale.
First wash any print resin residue off the parts, separate the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The color-printed elements will stand out once they are picked out gently and given a flat clear coat.
This is an add-on detail set, not the model itself. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
