This set is an accessory for experienced modelers, not a model in its own right. It contains two resin auxiliary fuel tanks for models of the CH-53 and MH-53 heavy transport helicopters in 1:48 scale. The crisply cast parts replace or supplement the tanks from the box.
The CH-53 and MH-53 are among the largest Western transport helicopters. The side auxiliary fuel tanks on the sponsons markedly extend the range and are a characteristic element of the silhouette of the machine, so they show clearly on a model.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks with a fine saw and sand the joints with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a base coat before painting; shades of aircraft gray and aluminum suit the metallic look.
The set is an accessory and is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
