Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a faithful rendering of the landing flaps of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-6 fighter in 1:48 scale. The thin metal parts let you model the flaps as separate, fully structured surfaces, or show them lowered, which the plastic parts cannot do. This is not an airplane model but an accessory for advanced detailing; the base kit has to be bought separately.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was among the most successful German fighters of the Second World War. The A-6 version of 1943 had a strengthened wing and standardized armament and was deployed on the Eastern Front and the Western Front alike. The landing flaps on the trailing edge of the wing improved the takeoff and landing characteristics.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them on a metal photo-etch bender. They are bonded with super glue, or with epoxy. Before painting, degrease the metal and go over it with a primer so that the paint holds well.
This is a set of photo-etched parts, not a model. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
