The GBU-38 is an American guided aerial bomb from the JDAM family, in which the standard 500-pound Mk 82 bomb is fitted with a guidance kit using satellite and inertial navigation. The precisely cast parts capture the characteristic shape of the bomb body, the tail guidance unit and the strakes.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting stubs and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before gluing them onto the racks, check the correct armament configuration for the version of the aircraft you are modeling.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. This is not a standalone model but a detail set of armament; glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
