The set joins a guided bomb fitted with a wing kit for extending the glide with the pylons that allow it to be hung under a machine of Eastern design. It is exactly the pairing of bombs and pylons that makes the set a complete solution, because the mountings differ in size from Western ones. The entry (2 pcs) is taken from the name of the item.
The bomb came about by adding folding lifting surfaces to an ordinary guided charge, thanks to which it can cover a substantially longer distance after release than a classic weapon. Adapter pylons then allowed it to be carried by MiG-29 Fulcrum machines, that is by an aircraft that was originally not suited to Western ordnance at all. For modelers it is a very current and so far little-covered subject.
Try the fit of the pylon dry directly on the wing, because the spacing varies between individual Fulcrum kits. The deployed surfaces are thin and deserve careful handling, so glue the finished assembly on only once the wing is painted. The lettering tends to be small and irregularly placed.
The set serves to complete the armament of a model; it does not contain a kit of the Fulcrum itself.
