This is a set of detailed 3D printed resin parts in 1:48 scale, not a vehicle kit. The accessory faithfully captures the German 15 liter transport can with its sealed neck, the folding lever of the closure and the characteristic pressed relief of the walls. It serves to bring dioramas, supply scenes and vehicle loads to life.
The German standard can of the Second World War is one of the most distinctive items of field supply. Alongside the widespread twenty-liter version, a smaller fifteen-liter variant was also in use. The sturdy pressed shell, the three handles and the quick closure allowed safe carrying and pouring by a single person.
Carefully separate the parts from the supporting blocks, clean up the surfaces and wash them in lukewarm water with detergent. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with respiratory protection. For a realistic look a flat khaki or gray base color suits well, with fine chipping on the edges and brown or dusty washes that emphasize the relief and the closure.
The accessory is supplied as an unpainted resin part. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
