A photo-etched set of engine deck grills for the Pz.III / StuG III in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Voyager Model. The brass photo-etch replaces the plastic cooling grills of the Tamiya kits 32507, 32524 and 32543.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set in brass for refining the engine deck of plastic kits of the German medium tank Panzer III and the assault gun StuG III in 1:48 scale, specifically the Tamiya kits 32507, 32524 and 32543. The set is not a vehicle model; it replaces the molded plastic grills with fine photo-etched parts you can really see through and is usable for both related subjects.
The Panzer III was the backbone of the German armored forces in the first half of the Second World War; the widely used assault gun Sturmgeschuetz III (StuG III) was built on its chassis as well. Both vehicles share the basis of the hull, cooling grills over the engine deck included, which is a rewarding place for photo-etched refinement.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors and shape the bends with a bending tool. Glue them with cyanoacrylate, and degrease the metal and treat it with a primer before painting. Tweezers and an airbrush help.
An accessory for the advanced; the plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
