About product

German WWII Towing Cable Eyes 3D (1:48, Eduard)

A detail set from the Czech company Eduard made by direct 3D printing, containing the eyes of towing cables for models of German military vehicles of the Second World War in 1:48 scale. This is not a vehicle model but a small accessory that replaces coarser plastic parts with a faithful 3D-printed version.

Use

  • The 3D-printed eyes are cut away from the print supports and cleaned up
  • They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate)
  • They replace or complete the towing eyes at the ends of the cables
  • Suitable for finishing dioramas and fitting out vehicles

Who the set is for

For modelers of German armor in 1:48 scale who want a realistic termination of the towing cables and a fine detail of the vehicle equipment.

The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. The cable itself, the model and paints are not included in the package unless stated otherwise.

FAQ

They are the metal terminations of the tow cables on vehicles; the set replaces them with a faithful 3D-printed detail.

Unless stated otherwise, the set contains only the 3D-printed eyes, not the cable or the vehicle model.

They are cut away from the print supports and bonded with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
