The Hawker Hunter was a British single-seat jet fighter of the 1950s with a Rolls-Royce Avon engine; the F.6 version was a fighter variant with boosted performance. Faithful wheels with a realistic tread pattern and rim are among the details that catch the eye on a model on display.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin wheels, cut off the casting block and bond with super glue. Paint the wheels separately and fit them at the very end of the build. Separate the tire and the rim by masking or by careful brushwork; wear respiratory protection while sanding.
