A resin detail set from the Czech brand CMK in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model, but a set for raising the fidelity of the cockpit of the Airfix kit of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter. The set brings a new pilot's seat with a harness, a resin instrument panel with raised detail, rudder pedals, a gunsight and a control stick. It is intended for more experienced modelers.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British single-seat fighter of mixed construction with a tubular truss fuselage framework. Together with the Spitfire it played a key role in the Battle of Britain, where most of the Luftwaffe aircraft shot down were credited to it; it was rugged, easy to repair and a stable gun platform.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding. The cockpit comes into its own once it is painted with an airbrush, the instruments are picked out and fine weathering is added. Finish the interior before closing the fuselage.
The set contains only the resin parts of the interior. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
