The Hetzer tank destroyer of middle production in 1:48 scale can be completed with this metal set of thin shields, grilles and tool brackets.

A low tank destroyer offers surprisingly many places on a model where metal pays off: the covers, the tool brackets, the armored shields and the grilles. Royal Model has prepared a brass set for it at 1:48 size that replaces those parts with thin pressings and adds refinements unattainable by injection molding.
The vehicle was created in 1944 on the proven chassis of a light tank of Czechoslovak design and was built in Prague and in Pilsen. A 7.5 cm anti-tank gun with a long barrel fitted into the tight casemate, the front armor was given a pronounced slope and the whole machine was so low that it could hide behind an ordinary field boundary. The drawbacks were the cramped interior, the limited traverse of the weapon and the commander's poor view. After the war it went on being built for the Czechoslovak army and for export to Switzerland, so a modeler may also come across it in a postwar finish.
The sloping surfaces of the casemate do not allow a bend by guesswork: make a template from the plastic part. The gun shield will only seat if the barrel is set exactly on the axis. A low hull invites heavy weathering from the wheels and tracks, and here you should certainly not be sparing with the pigments.
It is sold as a pure accessory, with no plastic, no chemicals and no tools.
