SPACE is a cockpit accessory, not a helicopter model. The set from the Czech maker Eduard combines 3D decals carrying three-dimensional, color-printed detail of the instrument and side panels with photo-etched steel seat belts. The parts create rich, raised detail in the cockpit without laborious painting of individual dials.
The Hughes AH-6J belongs to the family of Little Bird light helicopters used above all by special forces units. The small glazed cockpit is clearly visible on a model, so faithfully rendered panels and belts raise the impression of the finished build substantially.
The 3D decals are not dipped in water; only the backing paper is moistened, the element is lifted off with tweezers and fixed with PVA glue (white glue). Their thickness and relief come from the carrier layer. The steel belts are shaped over the seat and bonded with super glue. Everything is fitted before the cockpit is closed up.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
