Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British aircraft Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb in 1:48 scale from the Polish brand Arma Hobby, which is one of the top makers of modern kits with high detail. The set is from a modern tooling and contains self-adhesive masks for the wheels and the canopy and decals for several aircraft.
The Hawker Hurricane was the real workhorse of the Battle of Britain — it shot down more enemy aircraft than the more famous Spitfire. The Mk IIb version carried twelve machine guns in the wings and later, in the fighter-bomber version known as the Hurribomber, it was often used for attacks on ground targets. It was a robust and reliable aircraft which won a firm place among pilots and modelers alike.
The modern tooling offers fine detail — glue with a liquid cement for plastic and work carefully. First finish and clear-coat the cockpit, then close the fuselage. Make use of the masks enclosed for the canopy and the wheels; the glazing will then stay clean. We recommend a primer and an airbrush. Keep to the period British camouflage scheme — check the particular shades against the instructions. In 1:48 scale the panel lines picked out with a fine wash, the exhaust stains and discreet dirtying come out well. Apply the decals on a gloss clear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
