A set of self-adhesive masking templates made of fine kabuki (washi) paper, cut to fit the particular kit exactly. It is not a model but an aid to spraying the cockpit frames and the other clear parts cleanly. The BASIC version covers the canopy framing, the remaining clear parts and the wheel masks.
The Focke Wulf Fw-190 D-9, nicknamed Dora-9, was a high-performance late version of the German Second World War fighter, with an elongated engine cowling for the inverted V12 Jumo engine. Thanks to its better performance at higher altitudes it was among the most feared German fighters of the closing months of the war.
Peel the mask off, place it precisely with tweezers and press the edges down. Spray in thin coats so that the paint does not creep under the edge. It is best to start with the interior cockpit shade and follow with the exterior airframe color.
The set contains masking templates only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
