A resin 3D-printed detail set for experienced modelers. It is NOT a stand-alone model but an accessory for the plastic kit of the Kamov Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter in 1:48 scale. The set adds a finely printed gun bay with the 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannon and the internal structure that plastic does not address. It is tuned specifically for the Ka-52 kit from Zvezda.
The Ka-52 Alligator is a Russian two-seat attack helicopter with coaxial main rotors. On the side of the fuselage it carries a movable 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannon; its exposed bay brings a model markedly to life and lets you show the internal mounting of the weapon.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash off any print resin residue and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). You will need to cut or adjust a matching opening in the fuselage of the kit according to the instructions. Sand with your airways protected; apply primer before painting and bring out the details with a wash.
This is a resin detail set, not a model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
