The Wolfpack 1:48 KM-1 resin seat for the MiG-21M/MF

A detailed resin KM-1 ejection seat from Wolfpack Design, intended for plastic models of the MiG-21M/MF fighters in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an airplane but a separate accessory, which replaces the simplified kit seat with a faithful copy of the real ejection seat, seat belts included.

What the set contains

  • A cast resin KM-1 seat with fine detail
  • Modeled seat belts and buckles
  • A faithful rendition of the mechanism and the upholstery

Use and tips

The part has to be cut off the casting block, washed clear of the mold release residue and, if need be, lightly sanded. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The seat is painted according to the real thing and fitted into the cockpit in place of the kit part. Protect your airways when sanding resin.

Yes, the seat belts and buckles are modeled directly into the casting; they only have to be painted.
