An add-on set for models of the two-seat versions of the A-7 Corsair II aircraft in 1:48 scale. An item from the Reskit brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A-7 Corsair II is an American carrier-based attack aircraft with a stubby fuselage, a large circular air intake below the cockpit and a short wing. It came into being as a machine for precision strikes and stayed in service into the 1990s. The abbreviation LTV in the name belongs to the maker Ling-Temco-Vought. The set is aimed at the TA-7C, TA-7H, TA-7P and A-7K versions, which are two-seat variants with a lengthened nose and a second cockpit behind the pilot. The TA-7C came out of a conversion for the US Navy, the TA-7H served in Greece, the TA-7P in Portugal and the A-7K with Air National Guard units.
This is an accessory for models of these two-seat versions in 1:48 scale. The list of four designations in the name says which machines the set suits. What exactly the package holds and where the parts belong on the model are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Compare the instructions, therefore, with the kit you are building.
The parts are not made of polystyrene, and ordinary liquid cement for plastic will not join them. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand the mating surfaces beforehand. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder down carefully. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry, otherwise the primer will hold badly.
For modelers who are building the two-seat Corsair II in 1:48 scale. Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
