About product

Reskit 1:48 MBD2-67U multiple bomb racks (2 pcs)

The set contains two 3D-printed resin MBD2-67U multiple bomb racks in 1:48 scale. It is an armament accessory that lets you hang several smaller bombs realistically from a single hardpoint. The 3D-printed parts have fine detail and crisp edges.

The real subject

The MBD2-67U is a Soviet multiple bomb rack that made it possible to carry several smaller bombs from one hardpoint of an aircraft. It was used on tactical and ground-attack aircraft of Soviet and Russian design and raised their load capacity considerably.

Building and painting tips

Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts, separate them from the print supports and clean them up while protecting your airways. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The racks usually carry a different shade from the bombs, so paint them separately; letting a wash flow in will bring out the small details and the riveting.

Who it is for

  • builders of Soviet and Russian tactical aircraft
  • anyone after realistic external stores
  • modelers building rich loads and dioramas
  • advanced builders who work with resin

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
