A set of wet decals from the American brand Two Bobs in 1:48 scale, meant for finishing a model of the single-seat Hornet in the F/A-18C version. It contains national insignia and markings for depicting particular machines. These are aftermarket decals applied to a finished, painted model, not a kit.
The F/A-18C Hornet is a single-seat carrier multi-role fighter-bomber from McDonnell Douglas (later Boeing), for many years a mainstay of the US Navy and the US Marine Corps as well as of a number of foreign operators. The type handles fighter as well as strike tasks and became famous for its many colorful unit and ceremonial schemes. Check the particular units and serials against the instructions in the set.
Finish the model in its base shade and coat it with gloss clear. After soaking the decals in lukewarm water, slide them into place, align them and blot the excess water away. Use a decal softener and a decal fixer solution to make them settle into the engraved lines and the panels, and finally even everything out with a protective clear coat.
The decals are supplied on their own; the model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
