1:48 McDonnell-Douglas F/A-18C/E Hornets CoNA is a set of Two Bobs waterslide decals for models of Hornets in a celebratory finish for the anniversary of naval aviation, in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of waterslide decals from the American brand Two Bobs in 1:48 scale, devoted to Hornets in commemorative schemes for the anniversary of American naval aviation (CoNA, Centennial of Naval Aviation). It covers the single-seat F/A-18C as well as the larger F/A-18E Super Hornet. These are add-on decals for completing a model, not a kit.
The F/A-18C is the single-seat Hornet carrier fighter-bomber, and the F/A-18E Super Hornet is its enlarged and modernized version with a higher load capacity and range. For the centenary of naval aviation, selected machines received nostalgic finishes recalling historic units and eras, which made them attractive modeling subjects. Verify the particular units and registrations against the instructions in the set.
Finish the model in its base shade and clear coat it with gloss. Slide the decals onto their places after soaking in lukewarm water, align them and blot the excess water away. On more extensive schemes and transitions across panels, use a decal softener and a decal fixer, and finally unify everything with a protective clear coat.
The decals are supplied on their own; the model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
