An aftermarket set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the American specialist Two Bobs. The sheet brings color schemes for the two-seat F-15E Strike Eagle deployed in modern combat operations, including engaging markings and the matching stencils. The decals serve to decorate a plastic kit of the corresponding type and scale that has already been built.
The McDonnell Douglas (today Boeing) F-15E Strike Eagle is the two-seat multi-role fighter and strike version of the Eagle, intended for precision strikes in all weather and by day and night alike. It carries an extensive range of guided and unguided armament on conformal fuel tanks and pylons, and since the 1990s it has formed the backbone of the US Air Force strike squadrons in a number of conflicts.
Work on smooth gloss clear, which prevents a matte bloom under a decal. Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water, slide it off the backing onto the right place and blot the excess water away. A decal softener will help it to seat, drawing it into the engraved lines as well. Finally clear coat the whole model to the degree of sheen you want.
This is a standalone set of decals. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
