Me 262 HG III - color 3D interior 1:48 (Quinta Studio)

The set brings three-dimensional interior parts colored at the factory, printed by 3D printing and carried on decal backing paper. It is not a kit but an accessory for detailing the cockpit of a plastic model of the high-speed jet project Me 262 HG III in 1:48 scale. The parts are thicker than ordinary decals and combine the relief of resin with the easy application of colored photoetch.

The real subject

The Me 262 HG III (Hochgeschwindigkeit III) was a German project for a high-speed version of the jet fighter with a swept wing and the engines buried at the wing roots; it was not built by the end of the war and belongs among the popular subjects of the alternative history of the so-called Luft '46 era. The cockpit with its instrument panel is a rewarding place for detailing.

Use

• Cut the part out, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing like a decal. Do not let chemical decal softeners near it, as the printed resin will not take them.
• Seat it on the matching surface of the cockpit; secure the thicker parts with a tiny amount of glue.
• The pre-colored instruments and lettering usually call for no further painting.
