A set of rear exhaust nozzles for the MiG-29 Fulcrum in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory (resin and 3D-printed parts) that replaces the engine exhaust nozzles on the plastic MiG-29 kit from Great Wall Hobby. The base kit has to be owned separately.
Faithfully shaped nozzles with fine internal and external detail markedly raise the realism of the tail of the model. The cast and printed parts capture the structure of the metal panels and the combustion chamber, which the plastic parts from the box usually simplify.
First wash the print resin residue off the parts, carefully cut away the print supports and clean up the surfaces. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. The nozzles take metallic shades well and come into their own with a wash into the recesses.
It is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit has to be bought separately; paints and glue are not included in the package.
