The MiG-17 was a Soviet subsonic fighter of the early 1950s that followed on from the MiG-15 and brought above all a new wing with greater sweep. The MiG-17F version had an engine with an afterburner. The Polish Lim-6bis was a license derivative adapted for ground attack and strike duties. Both machines served with a number of allied air forces, including Czechoslovakia and Poland.
Sand the joints of the fuselage and the air intake carefully, because even small gaps show on a jet. An airbrush and metal shades work well, with the typical bare duralumin in mind. Paint the cockpit and the landing gear separately. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
