This is not an airplane model but a resin (3D printed) accessory for advanced modelers. The package contains two figures of pilots of the French two-seat and multirole Mirage 2000 versions (B, D, N) seated in Martin-Baker Mk.10Q ejection seats. The set is intended for the matching Mirage 2000 fighter kit in 1:48 scale; the manufacturer of the accessory is Reskit.
A fitted pilot figure fundamentally raises the impression a finished model with an open canopy makes. The MB Mk.10Q seat faithfully copies the shape of the real seat, including the straps and the lever controls; 3D printing allows fine detail of the clothing and the helmet that is hard to reach with injection-molded plastic.
First wash the parts free of print resin residue, separate them from the print supports carefully with a sharp knife and work the sanded surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. For a realistic result we recommend matching the flight suit, the helmet and the oxygen mask to the period look of the French Air Force.
The accessory is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin set. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
