A photo-etched sheet from the British maker Airscale in 1:48 scale. It offers a set of fine cockpit details matching the interiors of modern jet aircraft. It serves to superdetail the instrument panel, the side consoles and the controls. It is not a model or a kit but a photo-etched detail set.
The sheet holds the small components of modern cockpits, such as consoles, panels and controls, conceived generally for jet machines. The parts are thin and accurate and raise the level of detail considerably beyond what injected plastic can cover. They combine ideally with the decal sets of modern instruments and warning placards from the same maker.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface. Make the folds in a photo-etch bender or with the help of a ruler. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) in a small amount and paint the finished parts after the original.
This is a standalone photo-etched accessory. The aircraft model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
