These are accessory parts, not a model of the aircraft. Wipers are a detail that can hardly be done in an injection mold: the arm is in reality a thin rod and the wiper blade is thinner still, whereas a mold needs the part to be thick enough to fill at all. Most kits therefore either leave the wipers out or suggest them as relief on the glass, which looks like a scratch. The resin replacement has them cast separately and in a thickness that matches reality. On a finished model they are extremely noticeable, because they lie right on a transparent surface.
The Bell Boeing MV-22 Osprey is a tiltrotor, that is a machine with engine nacelles that tilt. For take-off and landing the rotors point upwards and the machine behaves like a helicopter; in level flight the nacelles tilt forward and the rotors become propellers. In this way it combines vertical take-off with the speed and range of a propeller aircraft.
The set is for modelers who finish off the details in places that catch the eye. It is a small upgrade, but one of those with the best ratio of work spent to visible improvement.
