An add-on set for a model of the OV-10D+ aircraft in 1:48 scale. An item from the Reskit brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The OV-10 Bronco is an American observation and light attack aircraft with an utterly unmistakable silhouette: a short fuselage nacelle with a glazed cockpit, a high-set wing and two tail booms joined by a horizontal tail surface. The machine was built for work low over the ground, for short strips and for long patient patrolling, not for speed. The D series version came out of a later upgrade aimed at observation at night and is among the latest forms of this aircraft in service.
This is an accessory for an OV-10D+ model in 1:48 scale, that is parts to be fitted to a part-built kit. It comes from the Reskit brand. What exactly the package holds and where the parts belong on the model are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Before you start building, therefore, compare the instructions with the kit you have.
The parts are not made of polystyrene, so ordinary liquid cement for plastic will not join them. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand the mating surfaces beforehand so that they meet without a gap. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder down carefully. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry, otherwise the primer will hold badly. The particular sequence is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For modelers who are building the Bronco in 1:48 scale and want to complete the model with parts from this range. Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
