Eduard P-47N Thunderbolt 1:48, cockpit upgrade set (for MiniArt kits) is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. It brings substantially finer detail to the cockpit of the kit, which is clearly visible under the bubble canopy once the model is finished.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is not an airplane model but an accessory intended to improve a kit you have already bought. The target is the Republic P-47N Thunderbolt kit in 1:48 scale from MiniArt: the set replaces and supplements the detail in the cockpit, that is, in the place that is most visible under the bubble canopy of the Thunderbolt. The base plastic kit has to be obtained separately.
The P-47N is the late long-range escort version of the Thunderbolt from the end of the Second World War, used above all in the Pacific: the greater range came from a new wing with integral tanks, and with it the cockpit gained equipment for many hours of flight over the ocean. That is exactly why a carefully worked cockpit pays off on this version: it is clearly visible through the large clear canopy, and the difference against the standard plastic shows at first sight. Eduard place the set in their premium range of detail parts made by 3D printing, which allows sharper edges and finer relief on the instruments and on structures that injection-molded plastic cannot reach.
For modelers who want to get the most out of a Thunderbolt in 1:48 and do not mind fine work with small parts. Given the size of the parts and the modifications needed, it is a set for more experienced builders.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
