A set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals in 1:48 scale from the maker Kelik for refining the interior of a model of the American Northrop P-61B Black Widow night fighter. The raised instrument panels, side consoles and other elements are printed on a flexible film and are applied like a decal. It is not photo-etch and not resin, so the result is colored and in relief without demanding work.
The Northrop P-61 Black Widow was the first American purpose-built night fighter of the Second World War. The twin-boom machine with its crew and onboard radar hunted enemy aircraft in the dark over the Pacific and in Europe. The P-61B version brought a number of production improvements.
First remove the molded detail from the plastic interior parts so that the surfaces are smooth. Transfer the 3D decals with tweezers and press them down, securing them if need be with a drop of decal glue or thin PVA glue. The work goes better in good light and without hurrying.
This is an interior accessory, not an aircraft model. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
