An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-seat firefighting version of the Polish aircraft PZL M18B Dromader in 1:48 scale from IBG Models. The model captures the characteristically rugged outline of the machine with its large fuselage tank and powerful radial engine. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The PZL M18 Dromader is a single-engine high-wing aircraft of Polish design, developed for agricultural work and for the aerial application of chemicals and fire-extinguishing agents. It is powered by a powerful radial piston engine and carries a large central tank in the fuselage. Thanks to its load capacity and toughness the machine also spread into the role of fighting forest fires, where it carries water or retardant and drops it over the seat of the fire. The single-seat variant is intended for flying work with a good view from the high-set cockpit.
Cut the smaller parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and clean them up, and glue the joints with liquid cement for plastic. Before applying paint we recommend a primer, and an airbrush makes even coverage easier on both single-color and striking firefighting schemes. The bright signal colors and lettering come out best with a gloss clear coat under the decals and a final matte or semi-gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
