RAAF pilot from the Pacific 1944/45 is a resin figure in 1:48 scale from CMK for bringing an aircraft model or a diorama to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finely worked resin figure of a pilot of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) from the period of the fighting in the Pacific in 1944 to 1945, in 1:48 scale from CMK. The pilot wears pants and a short-sleeved shirt under a life vest (Mae West). The set also holds an alternative head, with a helmet and goggles or with the distinctive Australian headgear, and a small decal sheet with a pair of badges for the life vest.
RAAF pilots operated in the tropical conditions of the southwest Pacific, which is what the light summer dress corresponds to. A short-sleeved shirt and an inflatable life vest were typical equipment for flights over the sea in a warm climate.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer, then the paints; apply the badge decals to a painted and clear-coated vest. By choosing the head you adapt the figure to a scene on the airfield or in the cockpit.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
