A woman Rafale pilot in an ejection seat in 1:48 scale: a printed figure for the cockpit of the kit from Hobby Boss.
Responsibility details are not available.
A female figure modeled seated, with the hands in a position corresponding to the moment just before takeoff. The shaping is based on the cockpit of the single-seat Rafale in the kit from the brand Hobby Boss and covers both the land-based C version and the carrier-based M. The print captures the anti-g trousers, the harness and the shape of the helmet with its oxygen mask.
The Dassault Rafale is a French multirole combat aircraft with a delta wing and canards. The C execution serves with the French Air Force, while the carrier-based M has strengthened landing gear and a tailhook for operation from an aircraft carrier. Women have been flying French combat machines for a number of years, so the figure is no modeling license. At air shows and in active service alike women pilots are an ordinary part of the squadrons.
The cockpit of the Rafale is shallow and open, so it pays to do careful work mainly on the upper half of the body. The helmet, the shoulder straps and the gloves are what will be visible once the canopy is closed. The lower part of the body on the other hand disappears under the edge of the tub, where a base shade is enough.
A kit of the aircraft has to be bought separately. The figure is inserted before the fuselage is glued together, otherwise it will no longer fit into the space of the cockpit.
