The figure is seated and ready to be dropped into the cockpit space. The manufacturer offers it in two differently shaped versions according to which kit it is aimed at: this one is cut for the Revell and Academy model, while an item of the same name carried alongside it is adapted to the HobbyBoss kit. Since the two differ only in the kit they target, the designation is there so that it is clear which of them is needed. The figure 1 pcs comes from the name.

The Rafale in two forms

The Rafale is a French twin-engine combat aircraft with a delta wing supplemented by forward horizontal surfaces. The C version is the single-seat land-based one, whereas the M came about for operation from aircraft carriers and differs above all in its strengthened landing gear and arresting gear. The cockpit stays essentially the same on both, so one figure covers both versions.

What to watch out for

Adapting to a particular model means that the shape of the back and the legs follows the space of that kit. In another model the figure therefore need not fit without modification. Starting with a dry fit and only then gluing is recommended. It pays to paint it outside the cockpit, ideally with the figure skewered on a stick, because once seated a brush can no longer reach the lower parts.
