This is not an airplane kit: it is an accessory that changes the mood of the whole display case, turning a machine ready for takeoff into an aircraft parked on the ramp, secured and watched over by ground crew.
On real aircraft, FOD covers are fitted over the engine air intakes so that no foreign object (a screw, a stone, a tool) can get in and wreck the compressor. The Remove Before Flight items, the red tags and safety pin covers, have to be taken off before takeoff; they hang from the landing gear locks, the probes and the pyrotechnic safety pins. For a model this means two things at once: safety reality and a strong splash of color that gives the eye somewhere to go.
For modelers who are building the Jaguar in 1:48 scale and want to display it in a ground or diorama scene, with the intakes covered and the tags fluttering. Working with resin assumes at least basic experience with accessory parts.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
