1:48 Spitfire Mk.V RAF masks for insignias

Masks for spraying RAF insignia on the Spitfire Mk.V in 1:48 scale (Omask)

This is a set of self-adhesive painting masks, not a paint or decals. The precisely cut masks make it possible to paint the British national insignia (RAF roundels) directly onto the surface of a Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V model in 1:48 scale. Sprayed markings look like part of the paintwork, have no glossy decal edge and do not silver on matte surfaces. Multicolor roundels are sprayed one ring at a time.

Use

• Peel the mask off the sheet and place it on a clean, degreased spot on the model
• Press the edges down carefully so that paint does not creep underneath
• Spray the individual colors of the roundel one after another, ideally in thin coats with an airbrush
• Remove the mask before the paint has fully cured, for the sharpest edges

Who the set is for

It will be appreciated by modelers building the Spitfire Mk.V in Royal Air Force colors who want faithful painted roundels with no risk of decal silvering.

The set contains only the painting masks. Paints, the model and glue are not included in the package.
