A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech firm Eduard intended for a detailed rendering of the landing flaps of a model of the T-6G Texan trainer aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but an accessory that replaces or refines the plastic parts of the flaps and reveals their inner ribbed structure.
The parts of thin brass sheet make it possible to display the flaps in the lowered position with a realistic structure. The individual pieces are separated from the fret, formed and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once a base coat has been sprayed on, they can be painted to match the rest of the airframe.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. The model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
