About product

M134 Minigun machine gun in 1:48 scale (CMK)

This is a resin detail set of armament, not a kit. It contains six pieces of the American M134 Minigun six-barrel rotary machine gun in 1:48 scale. It serves to arm models of helicopters and other machines that carry this rapid-fire weapon.

The real subject

The M134 Minigun is an American electrically driven six-barrel rotary machine gun of 7.62 mm caliber with a very high rate of fire. It is mounted on helicopters, boats and vehicles as a weapon for fire support and defense.

Building and painting tips

Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut the thin casting blocks off very carefully, because the barrels are delicate. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the weapons in a dark metallic shade, unify the barrels and bring them out slightly with graphite or a dry brush.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers arming helicopters and vehicles in 1:48 scale
  • Anyone interested in a faithful modern rapid-fire weapon
  • Builders of dioramas and scenes

The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
