A model of the American naval munitions transporter in 1:48 scale, in the version with adapters for bombs. It is an accessory for a deck scene, not a kit of an aircraft. On an aircraft carrier munitions are not carried by hand: they travel on low trolleys, which take them from the elevator to the aircraft and lift them to the rack. It is exactly such a trolley that turns a model of a standing aircraft into a scene in which something is going on.
Handling munitions is among the most demanding activities on the deck of an aircraft carrier, because there is little room, the traffic never ends and the material is heavy and dangerous. Munitions transporters are therefore low, narrow and easy to maneuver, and their arrangement differs according to the load they carry. The version with adapters for bombs corresponds to a load of unguided armament, whereas other supports are used for guided missiles.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent so that the print resin residue disappears. The printed parts have no casting blocks but thin supports, which you cut off with a sharp knife, and the marks you sand down. They are bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting. The deck of an aircraft carrier is a harsh environment: leave the trolley scuffed, with wear on the edges and with oil stains, because it is precisely the grubbiness that sets working equipment apart from a showpiece.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and it is an accessory, not a kit of an aircraft. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
