The MHU-191/M munitions transporter 1:48, the version for missiles from Kelik: an accessory for a carrier deck scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
A model of the American naval munitions transporter in 1:48 scale, this time in the version with adapters for guided missiles. It is an accessory for a deck scene, not a kit of an aircraft. The difference from the version for bombs lies precisely in the supports: a missile has a different shape and different points by which it may be gripped, so it is laid on the trolley differently. For a modeler that means choosing the trolley according to the armament hung on the aircraft.
Guided missiles are moved about the deck of an aircraft carrier the same way as other munitions, only handling them is more delicate: they are longer and more fragile and have moving surfaces that must not be damaged. The adapters on the trolley therefore hold the missile at defined places and keep it from resting where that would do harm. In period pictures of decks these trolleys are everywhere.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent so that the print resin residue disappears. The printed parts have no casting blocks but thin supports, which you cut off with a sharp knife, and the marks you sand down. They are bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting. Leave the trolley scuffed and grubby, with wear on the edges and with traces of handling, because on deck nothing stays looking new for long.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and it is an accessory, not a kit of an aircraft. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
