Adapter for Western ordnance on the MiG-29 Fulcrum (2 pcs) in 1:48 scale from Reskit - 3D printed resin pylons that allow GBU-39 SDB and GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) bombs to be carried.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. It contains a pair of 3D printed resin adapters (pylons) in 1:48 scale that allow Western precision-guided munitions to be hung on a model of the MiG-29 fighter - the small-diameter GBU-39 SDB bomb and the GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) bomb.
The MiG-29 (NATO code Fulcrum) is a Soviet twin-engine frontline fighter. In recent years Ukrainian MiG-29s have been modified to carry Western precision-guided munitions by means of special adapters. The GBU-39 SDB is a small-diameter glide bomb of about 110 kg, while the GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) is a conventional bomb fitted with a guidance and wing kit for extended range. The accessory captures exactly the interface between the Soviet pylon and this ordnance.
Wash the 3D printed resin parts free of print resin residue, cut the print supports off and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Combine the accessory with the matching bombs; apply primer and paint with an airbrush according to period photographs.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
