1 Man Army USAAF WWII Letters / Numbers 18 inches is a set of accurately cut painting masks for spraying the identification letters and numbers of American aircraft in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks from the maker 1 Man Army intended for spraying the identification letters and numerals of the US Army Air Forces of the period of the Second World War. The masks are cut from quality masking tape, they hold the shape of the characters and they make it possible to achieve a sharp, painted look without the use of decals. This variant is laid out for a character size of 18 inches converted to 1:48 scale.
On USAAF aircraft, letters and numbers were used to mark the fuselage, the wings and the serial numbers. Sprayed markings come across more realistically than a decal, they have no glossy carrier film and there is no risk of silvering. The set is of the generic type, so the characters can be combined according to the particular machine you are building.
These are painting masks, neither paint nor decals. Paints and tools are not included in the package.
